? [URGENT] Notice on Fraudulent Hotel Booking Scam Emails

Dear ISPSA 2026 Participants,

It has come to our attention that several participants and speakers have been targeted by phishing and scam emails regarding accommodation for the upcoming ISPSA 2026 conference.

Please be aware that these emails are completely fraudulent and are NOT affiliated with ISPSA or the official venue. The scammers are accessing public information (such as invitation lists or university directories) via search engines to target attendees.

Please DO NOT reply to these emails, click any links, or provide any personal data (such as passport numbers or credit card details).

Except for the official Haevichi Hotel & Resort reservation team (rsvn@haevichi.com) and the official ISPSA 2026 Secretariat email address (ispsa@ispsa.or.kr), neither the hotel nor the secretariat will ever ask for your financial or sensitive personal information via unverified third-party channels.

We take data privacy and security with the utmost importance, and your contact information is not forwarded to a third party. The agencies DO NOT have access to your information through us.
They are accessing public information and searching contact details through search engines like Google.

If you receive a phone call or an email from them or have been contacted by any other travel agent, please forward the information immediately to us. Your kind understanding and support is much appreciated.

? What to do if you have been affected?
If you have already responded to one of these scam emails or provided your information, please take the following steps immediately:

1. Contact Your Credit Card Company: If you shared credit card details, call your bank or credit card issuer immediately to report the fraud, dispute any unauthorized charges, and request a card replacement.
2. Secure Your Accounts: Change your online banking passwords, email passwords, and PINs to prevent any further security breaches.
3. Monitor Your Statements: Continuously monitor your account statements for any suspicious transactions.
4. Report to Us: If you receive a suspicious phone call or email from any unverified travel agent, please forward the details to the ISPSA Secretariat immediately so we can alert other participants.
